I've been lurking here for some time and thought I really ought to take the plunge!
What do I do? Well, I'm a mechanical maintenance engineer and dedicated tinkerer. Just can't keep my hands of things. My main passion is my pair or hot rods but thats not why I'm here, is it? I started out by making my own power amp years ago and just got the bug for making my own hi-fi. A pre amp followed and then a turntable. I'm now starting on a pair of BHL Fostex cabinets for the 103e's. Got some JLH class A's on the back burner as well. Don't expect any great insights from me, My electronics stretches to following a circuit diagram and builing it. Mechanical stuff is my passion, done my way. Well, I guess thats it, now to pester people with dumb questions |

Welcome to the forums.
Keep us up on the 103's project. It's a very popular driver and I'm always interested in them. I have a set of Foster 10F3's which are an earlier version of the 103 before they called themselves Fostex. Great midrange. Cal |
