I am a very new Newbie here in Los Angeles.
I know how to plug my receiver in, and know the difference between a transistor and a capacitor, and er.. there is something else I know... give me a minute..... I just had the main processor board blow out on my beloved Denon 5600. They say the amp is fine, but the board is over $400 to replace. Is there anyone who can help me salvage the amp section to rig it up so that I can use it as 2 or 5 channel amp with my other less powerful receiver? It should be simple to isolate the various channel inputs and hook them up to an RCA jack. I would love to shower my helper with a nice dinner as a thank you...... Also, if I cannot do that, I was thinking of purchasing kits to make my own amp. Anyone using the Hypex UCD 400 or 700's? How do they sound? Easy to assemble? Can I use any of the power supply or capicators in the UCD amps? Jay |

Hi Jay,
Welcome to the forums. Can't help with the amp but you might want to post it in another forum and you'll likely get a better response than here. Cal |
