Default Hello, One and All

Hi,

New to the site, old to hi-fi - looking to start building some kit, start at the bottom and work up.

Looking forward to joining in the forum.

Work has moved me away from design so hoping to get the grey matter working again.

Not overly experienced in the use of forums, so if I make some etiquette mistakes while finding my feet - I apologise before hand.

By the way, based in South Wales.

Seasons greetings to everyone

Welcome to the forums Huw Puw,

Don't worry about your experience on forums. The people here will offer advice if you step out of line. If that fails, us moderators will hunt you down. If you're old to hifi, have you built things in the past?

What "kit" are you looking to put together?

Cal

Default Projects

The first thing I want to do is to build cabs (and upgrade cross over circuit ?) for an old pair of Kef's I've got lying about.

Following this I would like to build a power amp - but I want to use it as an opportunity to understand the principles, rather than making someone elses design.

but I'm only starting on the jousrney, so theres bound to be quite a few wrong turns on the way.

Huw
