Hello from Holland

Just registered into this forum. Got here through a friend who just finished a pair of mini Aleph poweramps. Haven't heard them yet, but I'm very curious.

I'm busy with DIY audio for almost 15 years now, starting with 50 bucks a pair chipboard cabinets and electronics dump speakerunits loudspeakers, and as time progressed, the projects got more serious.

My current system consists of self-designed 3-way TL speakers with Vifa 21WP250 woofer, Audax HM 170 Z0 mid, and Scan-Speak 2905/9000 tweeter. I drive this with a Classé CAV-150 6 channel HT poweramp, and a THEL active cross over. Very smooth, powerful and detailed sound.

At the moment I'm busy with a 3-way Avalon like system, also actively driven. Initially started as a 4-way design, I found the ideal midrange nevertheless:
Bass: Eton 12";
mid: Accuton C2-90 T6;
High: Accuton C2-12

I will post some of my progress also on this forum.

At the moment I just moved house, so my building activities mainly are restricted to domestic improvements. As soon as that's over, my energy will be redirected towards my speaker project.
