Hi everyone, just thought i'd introduce myself.
my name is Austin and no.... I'm not Australian like my user name suggests.
I post from lethbridge, Alberta and am new to building home loudspeakers (Other than the odd monkeying around with my commercial home theatre speakers)
Have built/installed custom car audio enclosures for several years and would like to enter the home audio "group".

Anyway, Just wanted to say hi to all and look forward to reading some interesting posts from all of you.

Hi Austin,

Welcome from the other side of the Rockies. Lethbridge eh? Home of the Hurricanes. Good luck this year in hockey.

I think you'll find this is one of the best places to learn about DIY. Many persons, lots of info. Don't be a fraid to ask questions after you have used the search function.
