Hi from Austin!
I am a DSP applications engineer in voice quality enhancement for telephony and I am also a hobby guitarist. I have always been interested in audio and playing around with guitar effects but my educational background is largely in theory and programming. I really want to get in to building my own amps, preamps, guitar effects, etc. just for fun and to learn about analog electronics.

I haven't gotten into building guitar amps yet, but have a few in the queue (actually a mandolin amp/speaker is highest in the queue  )dave
