hi from vienna

hello everybody!

i've found diyaudio.com about one year ago and was amazed how much information you could find in here! i spent more than one night, reading the forum instead of going home to sleep...

actually i have not much time for diy-projects, a small pair of active computer-loudspeakers + subwoofer still wait to be finished... if i find some time i will put some pictures on the web.

i started building self-made speakers some 15 years ago without any experience and measuring gear. the first results were (acustically) quite horrible - and (physically) big!

there are still lots of projects to be done!

Welcome to the forum. You'll find there are quite a few people here who know about loudspeakers...

Hi Stephan,

I'm a little like you, I love to build speakers. EC8010 is right. There are lots of people with bags full of experience. Keep us abreast of your projects.

hi stephan,welcome.i'm a canadian living in toronto,but i spend alot of time in vienna.i will be back in nov. for 3-6months.if you ever need help on projects,i would up for it.i allways have lots of time to kill when i'm there.

Neat tutorial on the home made surrounds... i've a bunch of drivers i want to try doing this for (some day) but was thinking of doing doped cloth (maybe even hemp cloth)....
