'Morning all (ok, so it's morning by GMT, which as I'm in Britain...
I'm a maritime (well, naval) historian full-time, though I'm also a qualified teacher and do some supply work occasionally (pays the bills). I also do a bit of writing / adapting / directing / teaching / acting for a small national theatre company when I have time. Yup, I'm abviously indiscriminate. I also do some gliding when I have the time and can afford it. My major DIY audio interest is single-driver speaker building, usually transmission lines (yes, a resounding thanks to Bob Brines & Martin King, who's sites provided the impetous...) though I confess to a hankering to try an array or two at some point, to say nothing of electrostatics, hybrids etc.), so if anyone wants a chat, do fire an email in my direction. Likewise if you've an interest in quad, or V-FET amps too! Enough of my waffle! Cheers for now Scott |

Welcome to the forum Scott. I look forward to seeing what you have to say about single driver transmission lines as I may be about to experiment in that direction soon.
