Default matt from detroit, michigan, USA, earth, etc.

Greetings, all

I'm a 23 year old electrical engineering student who intends to parlay his education into audio design, especially aimed at musicians. I'm also a musician, playing URB, elec. bass, piano (somewhat), flute and clarinet (beginner), percussion and voice.

Current projects include a triple-channel LM3886 GC (L,R,Sub); dedicated active sub. crossover, modular analog mixer, and modular analog mixer with motorized snapshot automation (aimed at live use)(senior design).

Good for you, welcome to the forum. It's nice to see a musician taking an interest in reproduction.
The loudspeaker: The only commercial Hi-Fi item where a disproportionate part of the budget isn't spent on the box. And the one where it would make a difference...
