Default Hello eh?!

Hello everyone, I am happy to have found a forum that seems to be just what I need, friendly people who like to help and share their knowledge. My name is Adam, I'm a student from Kingston Ontario Canada, I've been playing guitar on a major budget for 11 years, and just finally got my first amp! (Thats actually my own) the only problem is that it is an old Bogen PA!!! so I need to do some work on it first. I found an old thread on this topic, so I will bug you guys only when I am thoroughly lost! thank you

Well mostly welcome Adam. A new member who is a musician will always have an isight or two on the way things sound. Look forward to your posts.

Judging by the numbers of you here, seem like you all build your own hifi. Is it something to do during those long winter nights, perhaps? Keeping warm by your soldering irons?

Hey Adam! Welcome!

Al... That's why I started building big class A amps. Have to heat the home anyway... two birds, one stone. Brrr.

Well, to be honest, its not really as cold as it used to be. Maybe all the noise pollution from my playing my guitar has sped up the global warming

Actually Al,

We, in Vancouver probably get less snow and cold than Chatham (just a guess). Today will be 10 degrees and sunny. The cherry bloosoms have, or are soon to bloom, the snowdrops and tulips are well on their way, people are wearing shorts and rollerblading to work...

What was that about cold?

Oh, you must be talking about the other side of the Rockies, over there in Canada.

Suntanning Cal

By the way, welcome Adam
