Hi everyone,
Just like to introduce myself. I'm a full time guitar and mandolin maker in Oregon just getting back into electronics. I've been building a small recording studio at home to record my instruments. This past year I've made a few pieces of equipment (preamps, eq, compressors) and am getting interested in more hifi related stuff. In high school I used to make tube amps for electric guitar. I forgot how fun it was to make these things. Anyway, glad to have found this place!! Steve |

Steve, welcome. As a guitar hacker myself (I have a Frankenguitar: a pre-CBS Fender Mustang with a Jaguar bridge and Strat pickups), I'm delighted to have a real pro around here.
