Hi, i am a electronic technician/designer. Ive been in car audio for at least 12 years. I have build several different power amplifiers for my personnal use, as well as many types of enclosures, for house duty and car duty. I have build my first double band pass subwoofer enclosure something like 10 years ago.
I do work now for Astroflex inc. as a designer for all kind of electronic accessories, that includes remote starters, alarms, by-pass modules and so on. I am the Pads/power pcb guru there so i can do prety nice PCB for my projects. I do also a lot of mecanics on my cars, my preferd one beign a 1976 BMW 2002 turbocharged, features are a SDS programmable fuel injections as the main goodies, garret turbo,...250hp on tap. I am always searching for good schematics and new projects. My latest project is a Pass Labs Zen amp (penultimate?). I like it, but dont use it often as it is a very unstable amp wich delivers more heat than it should imho. But it sounds very good, as much as my reference power amp, a Sony ES. Source is a modified Luxman Tube cd player D-105u, with Quest towers (cross over tweaked of course I hope i will be able of some help, and hope to get some too when asked !!! thanks new group !! |

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure the loudspeaker people can exchange useful knowledge with you (I'm a bit out of date).
