Default Hi there!

Hello everybody!
I was reading one of the threads about chipamps because I was about to start a project with one of those. After that I decided to register DIY. I'm impressed at how much knowledge people can gather during a lifetime.
Anyhow, my name is Bjorn and I live in northern Sweden. I work as tech at a school were I most of the time take care of maintenance and repair of musical instruments and everything wich contain electronics. I'm also kind of an helping/extended arm to those stundents who make their school projects, it's an excellent job !! Been playing with rf and audio electronics for a long time, since I'm a guitar player and music lover I'm getting more and more into audio. I'm not that well educated but i've learned some thru the years repairing and bulding lots of different stuff.
Hopefully I'll be able to share some of my knowledge to you.

Bjorn

Hi!

Thank's for reply!
Yes, sm2gxn is my callsign, I've had my license since 1973 and been quiet active both sw and vhf.
I'm at work right now working on a guitar amp, badly burned

Bjorn

Hej Sm6XUN!

Glad to see that I'm not the only Swedish ham arround
It seems that you are nearly in same world concerning the profession. I'm not a teacher, I'm the one lurking arround behind all the teachers I'll drop you a mail later.
Best of seasons greetings!
