Hi fellow fanatics,

My name is Frank van Beek, 39 years old. I'm building all kinds off speakercabinets since '81. I started with a Karlson coupler, and through several TL's and BR's (over 35 enclosures) I'm back at the beginning: OB's with full range speakers.
At the moment my gear is rather minimal and not completely satisfying:

StoetKit 1 300B SE
BD TQWP Fostex/ACR 103 Sigma
Marantz CD63 mkII KI

Recently I started to find out more about tubes. Unfortunately I have no real background in electronics, so I have to learn a lot!

I hope I can find many answers in this magnificant forum and also can help others. My english also needs improvement......

I would like to show all of my projects, but unfortunately I don't have pictures of them anymore. I can name some projects though. When you want to know more I can give details. Some of them are published in magazines so I just rebuild them.

Karlson (Goodmans 10" full range + Philips cone tweeter)
DAline TL (Focal 5N401 + T121K)
Pied Piper (Sonics woofers + AD211SQ8 + ribbon tweeter)
Focal Onyx BR (10N501 + 8P511 + SEAS dome mid + T121K)
Tabor BR (KEF 8" + Audax HD100D25)
State of the Art TL (B139 + 5N401 + T121K)
CT164 hyperbolic horn (ACR 103Sigma)
Several BR's 2-way enclosures (Pyramids and other non-standard designs)
3-way BR (Vifa 10" + Audax 5" + Vifa XT300)
OB (ACR 103Sigma + SEAS 10" woofer)
OB (Eminence 15" + Fostex FE206 or Visaton B200) under construction....
Pico Lino TL (Visaton 10 cm woofer/midrange + CT13 tweeter)
Topas TL (5" woofer/midrange + tweeter)

I used MDF, HDF, plywood and solid wood. Best results I had with birch plywood and HDF.

Soon I will start with my first tube amp: PhonoDude.

for connecting my Ariston RD40 to my 300B tube amp.
Major problem: so little time, so many work.....

Somewhere, in my archives, I must have a complete description of the Karlson speaker. I guess it's fifty years old.
I'll see if I can find it.
