Default Hello form Central California

Greetings - I'm new member Pete from central California. I joined to LEARN LEARN LEARN!

I am a mechanical engineer by trade so I know what Ohm's Law is and that's about it. I want to be able to build and troubleshoot audio equipment so that's why I joined.

I am also a semi-professional musician, although not much lately. I played in several bands while in college (I play fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass - Celtic, British Isles, American old-timey and traditional) but since family has come along there's not too much time for such frivolity. As a musician I am also a sound guy so I am fairly experienced with pro sound gear.

I got the audio bug while in high school. My first was a Kenwood 10W receiver.

Thanks, and I am very happy to be here. Looking forward to participating and getting help!!!

Hello Pete and welcome.

I'm sure you will be able to help us out with some questions on pro-equipment.
We miss that a bit here. We are more focused on high end stuff
most of the time.

Have a nice stay.

/Hugo
