Default Hello from Switzerland

Just joined this forum.

Impressing posts, polite and factual discussions. Congratulation.
My main interests are in tube amps, solid state class A amps, solid state pre amps like Kaneda, Hiraga etc.
Hope to contribute and to learn more.

Default welcome

Hi Dominique, syl,

Many thanks for your warm welcome.

Dominique,
you are right, Luzern is a nice place to live but very expensive. Living costs are close to those of Berlin, but the advantage we have are the lakes, the Alps and we are very close to Italy and only one hour drive from France. Thus any choice for a good live. But what's the hell a French-Men is doing in Berlin?

Syl,
I'm impressed about your web-site and your developments. Perhaps I need to contact you at a later stage to have more detailed discussions on your projects. Here in the Forum are a lot of interesting projects, Hiraga 30W and the Monstre are one of them - which I have build to and I'm very happy with - but also the JLH- class A.
What I'm missing are sofisticated pre-amp projects like Kaneda, but it seems that the important front of line did not get the attention required in my opinion. But let's see if some body see the importance of priorities for a good musically sounding chaine.

I wish you a lot of fun.

Rgds
