Howdy!

Just wanted to say hi! I'm new to this board, but I frequent some of the other similar sites (audioasylum, full range driver, etc). My obsession is DIY audio. I have built far too many tube amps and speakers, but still searching for the ultimate tone. Where I am today is in SE or PP tube amps and leaning strongly toward high efficiency wide range drivers, particularly those that use open baffles. But of course tomorrow is a different day and I'll be exploring horns or some such thing! I live in the Portland Oregon area and enjoy the occasional opportunity to have audio friends come audition my stuff, or vice-versa. I'm looking forward to participating in what looks like a great site.

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot good stuff and good people here. There are also a lot of you guys from the great NW hanging out here. You guy have the makings of a little audio mecca going on.
