Yeah, Unfortunately Detroit is like a Audio Desert, unless it's car audio you're looking for. If it's not automotive it's won't last long in Detroit. There's a few high-end shops, but that's it.

If you like wine, may be you heard about 'Hermitage', 'Cornas' or 'St Joseph'.

If not, near the cross of the 45° North and the Rhone river.

I'm fairly familiar with those towns- I judge the Concours aux Vins in Ampuis, and visit Cornas, Hermitage, Condrieu, Mauves, St-Peray, and Malleval/Limony pretty regularly. There's an interesting area which may be near where you are- Brezeme (pardon the lack of proper orthography); it's not yet well-known in the US, but the Syrahs from there are outstanding.

If I lived where you did, I'd be drinking Côte-Rôtie and eating St-Marcellin every night!
