Er, I mean fishing for awesome knowledge. My name is Charlie. I’ve spent more time discussing audio electronics over at GroupDiy, since my specialty is music recording equipment. This place is off the cuff when it comes to audio electronics wizards that freely share their wealth of knowledge.
I could go on and on but it’s late. But, I recall years ago seeing all these tube based circuits with solid state devices and it just made no sense to me. Until my recent tooling around with enhancing an old tube design with ccs with very positive results. Thanks to gingertube for setting me straight when I was stuck recently.
