Default Howdy from Texas

Howdy, new to the forums and the DIY audio scene. Always been interested in hifi audio, bought and sold stereo components and tinkering around with things such as replacing speakers and guitar mods (inspired by Frank Zappa), but when it comes to actual hifi and DIY audio I'm a complete amateur. Currently own a Sansui G-9000, some old Technics floor speakers and Infinity bookshelf speakers. Plan to build crossovers and replace the speakers in both. There are some old reel to reels, and turntables at my parents house I've been meaning to bring home, plus a videodisc player with The Godfather Part I & II (Jealous? haha). Near future projects will be a chip amp (or a few) which I'm currently researching and planning out.

Anyways, enough rambling, see you guys in the forums!
