I'm totally new to the DIY scene and have been "lurking" for a week or so. This community seems helpful and fun. I am sure I can learn so much from everyone.

Glad you found us, we try to make the topic as much fun as we can. Any ideas on where you want to start building?

I have just ordered BrianGT's chip amp kit and am working on a set of speakers. I hope to get some time to finish these projects before spring starts. If I don't it will be at least a month before I can work on them.
