Hello, I've been lurking here for weeks and finally decided to sign up. I hadn't built any audio gear since Dynaco went out of business. A month ago my father in law asked if I could fix his vintage Marantz and the bug came back in full force. I'm not so much interested in super hi fidelity as building good stuff that doesn't have Darth Vader styling or heart attack inducing prices. From reading the forums I'm intersted in small full range speakers and a simple easy to build power amp (20 to 30 watts) driven by Rod Elliots new preamp (project 88 i think). Any suggestions?
