Post I'm going to be posting here now

I'm at the end of my first semester of electronics technology. I need to build myself a power amp so that my drum machine and computer can come out of this ElectroVoice speaker that I have as loud as my guitar comes out of these four ampeg speakers that I have. What's the easiest passlabs(or not) one to build? My giant EV speaker is 8 ohms. I can start out with a small, low power one and work my way up, if I have to, but it seems like powersupply transformer things are expensive, so, you know, I don't want to build 389203 poweramps.
