Default Hello,Noob here..knob maybe:)

My name is Chris.
Im a Crane Operator by trade and a little bit of a geek by night.

I have no real pedigree or training in Electronics.

That said Ive built my own power supplies ,plus the digital volt/amp meters to suit.
Ive rewound microwave transformers to get what I need ..and I can promise you that was a leap of faith and pure ignorance.

So far Ive been flashed ,burnt ,amazed ,scorched ,covered in electrolytic oil and been to the emergency room for deep bruising in my hand from exploding capacitors. Ive blown fuse's and popped breakers.

That said.
Ive just finished rebuilding a Marantz 1070 amplifier .I purchased a Rotel 600a which I plan to rebuild just to listen to some audio on classic transistorised equipment.
With that.
I caught the audio bug.
I purchased a few kits on Ebay the L10 amp ,a pair. speaker protection and powers supply filter kits .

You'll probably see me around . I have a lot to learn and a lot to learn again.

Thanks to all who have contributed to this forum.
