I'm going to be building a small tube amp, so I expect I'll be around more than when I was learning ukulele.
I'm over fifty, and have been making musical electronics since age nine or so. Things I love: analog modular synths, electric guitars with a unique look and sound, technology stressed to its limits, polyphonic music (King Sunny Ade to gamelan to Bach to the Victoriaville Festival de Musique Actuelle), effects boxes with "character" (one-trick ponies whose trick is more like chowing down full whiskey bottles, glass and all, than like your typical horsey behavior), and, of course, hideous noise.
