Hello! I'm new here, a search for EL34 screen grid resistors turned up a thread here. 
I'm an electrical engineer and I've had lots of hands-on experience fixing tube amps, antique radios, and some solid state gear. I do some guitar and guitar amp repairs for friends on the side, and some of them are nudging me to try my hand at making a tube amp. I'm sure I'll be learning a lot here. I built a tube amp kit last year (MOD-101) and thoroughly enjoyed building it, but I'd like to resurrect some of my analog circuit knowledge and try designing one. Maybe even try my carpentry skills and build a decent combo box for it.
