Hey guys wanted to introduce myself as well. Im a big fan of the DIY audio scene, I was introduced to this form a couple years back when I first had enough money to buy some nice headphones and build my own amplifier.
So far Ive built a CMOY and a Starving Student amplifier, and I'm interested in continuing to learn and better understand sound systems and amplifiers. I'm really interested in audio repair, and bringing dead amplifiers and equipment back to life. Im a Mechanical Engineer by trade but the electrical stuff has always fascinated me, I just don't know as much about it and have to read up on everything. Im currently working on my first repair project for a pair of Powered Infinity RS8 speakers. |
