Hello! I'm a engineer/luthier/bass player in Caracas, Venezuela; and I want to learn as much as I can about live amplification.
Right now I own a Curbow bass guitar and a Carvin R600 series III amplifier, but I want to build my own cabinets. I want them to be loud, articulate, sonically transparent, and lightweight.
I know I could get a cabinet like that from Barefaced (UK), Avatar, or Acme; but again, I want to build it myself. Any pointers will be appreciated!
BTW, Acme is a real brand. I didn't know you could own such a name:
