Hello, I have been interested in hifi for many years, since my teens and now I'm not far of sixty.
I recently owned a Fatman 182 single ended valve amplifier.
The sound was superb but the reliability was poor and eventually it was returned to the dealer.
I have decided to build a single ended valve amplifier and have collected a few schematics with a view to using 6SN7 triodes as the input valves and EL34 or KT88's as the output valves.
My plan is to use valves that are readily available, (in the UK), so that I can upgrade them at a later date.
I want to keep things as simple as possible with only one input, for my cd player, a self biasing circiut and fixed feed-back.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.
