Hi all,
I reside in a small hamlet named Apalachin a bit west of Binghamton, New York, USA. I have only been involved in DIY audio for the past year or so but have always been a music lover. So far I have built the Rozenblit preamp that was published in Glass Audio, the John Linsley-Hood 10W class A amp (1969 version) and the ESP Death of Zen Class A amp. Currently I'm using the JLH amp with the ESP Capacitance Multiplier PS and enjoying it very much. I have very little electrical engineering background (only that which is included in the core curriculum for mechanical engineers) but am trying to learn. I can read the literature and understand the theory, but have not yet developed an intuitive insight into analogue circuit behavior. Considering the broad range of topics discussed here, this site should be a great help. See you inside. Mike L. |

Hi Mike - and Welcome to diyAudio!!!
Have Aunt Nona and Uncle David up in Binghamton. Uncle David was a Prof. over at the university and Aunt Nona taught HS there - both retired now. Had a couple of cute cousins there too - but they ran off and got married. You are off to a good start with things!
