Hi everyone,

I originally came on here to ask about a signal detecting Auto On/Off switch for a PSU but now i'm intrigued about building an amp for my soon to arrive speakers.

I am building the Seas idunn kit with upgraded crossovers Idunn

Having only ever dealt with car audio in the past and pretty much zero knowledge about building amps and power supplies, which way would i be better off going? (ie chip amp, solid state, tube etc)

I have a Yamaha RX-V461 receiver (needs to be upgraded) which currently runs my speakers but would like a project that produces a better sound for the new Seas drivers.

Any recommendations on where to start? Again, i have done this zero times so will need to start somewhere simple :)

Thanks
