Default greetings from California

Hi everybody, i'm a musician with a lot of stuff that doesn't work. I've been having problems with my PA and recently inherited some old tube amps that could use some work. I play a lot of garage/surf/punk, but i like all kinds of music, I also play in a band that breaks a lot of stuff. I've never really worked on musical equipment much, but I've got the physical part down; I've built wiring harnesses for cars from scratch, I've fixed computers, and I even took a robotics course once. I could however really use some help with the more audio specific components, and the theories behind them, and this site seems like a great place to get started. I feel like Im going to learn a lot and Im sure ill be bugging you with noob questions soon.

Hi Austin, with that background I'm sure you will do fine! Plenty to read here and plenty of help at hand. Do a bit of research as to what you think may be an issue and then start asking questions and you shouldn't go wrong

Any intelligence I may appear to have is purely artificial!
