Hello, from amp designer

Hi folks! My name is Reinhard Metz and I live in Wheaton Illinois. I'm a long time audio nut and do-it-yourself-er. Parallel to my career at Bell Labs/Lucent (now retired), I have been designing power amps and other electronic thing-ees, many of which have been published in Radio Electronics, Poptronics, Electronics Now. (check them out on my website, www.a-and-t-labs.com)

Just discovered this site, and it's wonderfull to see the enthusiasm and interest!

Nice to meet you, too.
It looks like you are offering a nice amp and very reasonably priced. Good deal!
How does it sound?

Of course I'm prejudiced, but I think they sound exceptional. The large 700 watt amp has been auditioned against $5000 Krells on a variety of speakers, including some of the harder to drive ribbon speakers, and they are indistinguishable.

The one in the cast aluminum case is much lower power, but is really clean.
