Hello

I am André, from Porto - Portugal. I am 28.

I am for long a music lover and also a good sound appreciator. I began with car audio installation once I spend many hours in my car driving. I have Peerless HDS woofers + Vifa XT25 tweeters in the car driven by 2 Genesis Profile 4 amplifiers, together with Elemental Designs SQ10 subwoofer on the front.

At home I have a vintage combo of Quad33 preamp, Quad 405 amp and 2 way Monitor Audio MA700 Gold.

I am looking to start to build my own stereo system to listen to good music and sound in my room.

I plan to go on Eekel's Mini by Troels Gravessen, but in active, with a Hypex AS2.100 amplifier. To match these 2 minis I plan to go with a subwoofer Dayton Audio RSS265HF-4, coupled to a Hypes DS4.0 400W at 4Ohms amp.

I hope to be able to learn nice matters in this forum as well as share my own experiences on these fisrt steps in DIY audio.
