diyAudio - Hello from WI

I suppose I better introduce myselfe before posting some questions...

I have been reading articles and post for several years but now I have a question to be posted.

Before I get to that in another thread, a bit about my set up.

I have been replacing a setup that I built up in college and was stolen from me a decade later. The worst part about the theft was they also took a crate (about 200 ) albums.

That system started with a Revox A77 reel to reel deck, with a set of Yamaha headphones. Then I added a Kenwood KA-8300 amp. After that came the turntable. An Ariston Audio RD11s with an Infinity Black Widow tonearm. With I think a Micro Acoustics catridge. A JVC Tuner rounded out the electronics.

At this point, I was using a roommates speakers. When the semester ended and we went our own ways, I was a bit broke, so I picked up a set of Advent bookshelf speakers... Yeah, I was broke.

Thanks to eBay and other outlets, I was able to completely recreate the system. The pretty amazing thing is that the prices for the items have not changed from what I remember, even though the wages have.
