Hi all.
I have a problem with my tube amp so I created a user name and jumped on board here. I like good quality sound from my home stereo but don't bother to do anything about our car's sound. I enjoy alternative music lately and Radiohead. Most other rock music tend to sound the same I think. Nothing wrong with Stones, The Doors, etc, but you can only take so much of it. I probably will buy some Monster Magnet albums soon. Never owned any. For the past year I have been experimenting with 2-way speakers I buy cheap at GoodWill. Now I'm in the process of building my own, from scratch, with my own crossover designs. My last epiphany is the benefit of a Zobel circuit for the purpose of dampen that nasty peak in most drivers around 1.5 kHz. You go, Mr Zobel! Kill that peak! |
