Default Hi everyone

I have posted here for a bit but I never really introduced myself.

I was a TV repair man for about 10 years during the day and studio engineer/sound guy at night. I'm still in music business after all these years (since 1985) and I pick up electronics gigs here and there from cnc machines to guitar amps. I do have a great deal of knowledge in electronics. Tube audio has been a past time for me. I was talked into joining some of these news groups by a member here. But I can see the thirst for knowledge is there. I did have mentors that showed me proper ways of building the tube audio circuits and I have came up with new theories and applications for circuit design and troubleshooting and I know a lot of the old school ways of stuff. If I come off as snooty or dry in a thread, its because I never developed the people skills to convey the information without talking downward ( I never got to do the sales floor thing because I was that good in repair). I'm sorry, everybody has their quirks..If you reply to me to chill out, I will understand.

I hope I can just help people on the way. I will usually reply to threads in hopes that it will be a learning experience for all (including me).
