Hi All,

Just registered today. I'm from Oz and have been interested in hifi since my teens.

Have collected Indie records/CDs since i was a lad, and have a fair collection of vinyl, but unfortunately no turntable to play them on the moment!
My old JH turntable (Aussie Rega style) expired after 25 years of use, eventually being vibrated to death on a move between Sydney and Brisbane.. very sad, so now i am looking for either a Rega or similar.

I also have an RXV590 amp with a few 'issues' since our most recent relocation and thought i would come here and run its foibles past the experts.
I get a great joy from listening to music, and enjoy tinkering and tweaking stuff, I get great satisfaction in learning how stuff works, rather than being totally disconnected.
