thought i would introduce myself. i am the son of an estranged electrical engineer so have known how to use a soldering iron long before i knew how to count passed 30. i am skilled enough to repair a wide range of circuits however due to the fact it is something that exist within my soul my technical knowledge of such devices is vague enough to repair but not create as such. stumbled accross this forum looking for the true values of some fet direct amplifiers i had collected over the years. i have been coined with the name electronecromancer by my peers i bring electronic devices back to life everything from pc/studio equipment to PA and hifi -generaly fixing bad manufacturing dry joints and the odd component replacement- i dont believe that just because something doesnt work its dead.
i want to take my audio system beyond the next level here are some pics of what i have in place. there are 3 amplifiers and a total of 6 channels managed by my pc and all frequency management is done at the preamp -i got fed up with loss of power through coils in my low pass crossovers- the sub i have is potent however alot of harmonic distortion from the cab i have plans put together for a reinforced concrete cab weighing just shy of 50Kg i need to learn more to improve on what i have achieved thus far comments of all kind appreciated

Hi Ep, keep looking around these forums. You can't help but get smarter and more in tune with what you might need. Careful though, it can get addicting.
