Just wanting to acquaint myself to the site again. I've been a member for some time but never really participated much. I am a newly out of work refrigeration tech. with grim job prospects. I am NOT crying over it, however: It's time to do something else anyway. I'm a pretty good guitarist, bassist, drummer. I have been devouring as much as I can, info about tube amps, effects pedals and really just the inner workings of all things electronic in musical instruments -digital notwithstanding.
The reason I wanted to re-introduce myself was to let whoever cares (probably no one! I am kinda stuck in that I have some very nice project amps in the works but I have gotten to a point where -if I don't find someone to guide me a little- I am going to waste much time and worse, ruin some nice vintage equipment. I don't want THAT! So, I figured I'd try to find a place of like-minded gearheads to maybe show me a better way to inform myself. Anyway, I hope I can find a place here to help myself, and help someone who may need to know something about the things I do know so far! Have a most excellent evening, day.... Carly |

JimG, Cal and Dave, thanks for the welcome and the $100 amp challenge is the next spot I'm headed to....at the just right angle, Stonehenge resembles a JTM45 Chassis!
I failed my ink-blot test, btw, |
