Default Man am I new and in need of direction

Just another noob here. I am super savvy on custom fabrication and car audio but have joined this site to go deeper....inside of the equipment and modify the equalizers, amps and HUs for warmer, more solid sound. I have repaired amps in the past bu do not know the names of components and purchased replacement parts from radio shack (never again). I am here to start from square one and get educated. Any general direction would be amazing.

Thanks a amplitude,
Jesse

I am wanting to mod a Audio Control EQX for a cleaner warmer sound for an SQ application for car audio. Where might I post a thread so I might get educated on how to do so? What caps/opamps to swap etc...?

Thanks!!

Jesse
