Wink Neither old or new

Been here on and off over the years but never introduced myself. I've been doing this DIY and audio stuff for over 40 years, SWTP, Leach amps and preamp and so much more. N. Pass is the Grand Poo Baa. Had a couple of conversations with him about his other passion, film, especially his thoughts about Stanley Kubrick and Roger Corman. I love to DX FM and used to DX TV but digital signals all but put an end to that. 26 years with Panasonic, 1 year with JVC and 4 years with Hitachi, 1974-2005, I lived the glory years of HiFi. I am a certified school trained technician and an FCC 1st class license holder, now a General Radiotelephone license. That and a dime will get you nothing. I'm now retired and can't wait to start burning solder again. I've got a lot of projects that need starting, finishing and updating. Looking forward to everyone's comments and input.

Welcome to the forum!

You made me nostalgic- I got a 1st class radiotelephone license back when Nixon was still president. Never ended up using it...

Hello oldglide - and a belated Welcome to diyAudio!!!

There is something about the way you write about your projects that reminded my of Frodo Baggins in "Lord of the Rings" when he was getting ready to leave the Shire.....

Well - come to think of it - we do have a couple of Wizards here (and I'm not one of 'em).
