Hello to all from the middle of Ireland. I enjoy listening to music, attempting to play guitar, simple DIY jobs and the odd round of golf.
My hi-fi system is about as simple as it can be: Opus 21 CD player Classe CA M350 monoblocks B&W 803D Silver interconnects, speaker cables and mains cables from Dalkey Audio A DIY mains powerblock fed by a Russ Andrews mains cable Recent addition is a Squeezebox Duet - music files are .FLAC and this sounds a lot better than a €250 box should!! I have guitars by Fender, Epiphone, Tom Anderson, Aria and Taylor. For amplification I use one of two self built SE combos [one with 10" speaker, the other 8"]. It is fair to say that I am overguitared for my ability. But what the heck! And you don't want to hear about my attempts to play golf......... |

It seems that hi-fi is a never ending search for Nirvana......not to mention the Valhalla word. |
