Hi all,
I wanted to be polite and present myself. As a new board member, I will refer to this post in the first few threads I will start. I'm Martin and I'm pretty much a DIY'er for everything. Anything designed and built by man can be understood and built by me; that's my motto. This goes from electrical, electronics, carpenting, mechanics, etc.I'm an amateur photographer. I'm interrested in electronics since I was young, which will happen in 10's of years (lol), I mean 25 years ago... Without saying I'm a full-blown audiophile, I can say that I'm an audio enthusiast, more biased towards sound quality than raw power; for example, I use an external DAC for all my digital sources and I hear the difference. I prefer listening to music through loudspeakers than headphones, but I know how to appreciate both. I have good understanding of electronic components and basic laws, but little about interractions of components in complete circuits. Salute! Martin. |

So you are more than welcome.... this may be a extension of your home..as you are a Diyer.
This forum has more than 100 thousand members.... and people that has the spirit, the real diy folks, the ones build almost everything they can, i believe, there are not more than 400 guys...so...you are a very precious element here.... it is funny, but seems to me (personnal opinion about) a rarity in our diy forum. Others may be diyer too, but diy of calculation, diy of simulation, diy of discussion, diy of opinions, diy of curiosity, layout producers, eagle experts and some other arms of our activity.... well, this kind of stuff...but to hold soldering iron joining some parts, usually junk parts, this is the real diy in my point of view...the rarity. There are the do nothing folks too...hehehehehe...there's a bunch of them. regards, Carlos
