Hello DIYA people.

I recently stumbled onto this website and I had to register and try to be a part of the community. I'm very impressed with how articulate and helpful most of the members here seem to be. Quite a nice group of people from what I've read so far.

A little about me - Being 39 now, I've been a lover of anything audio since 12ish. My large scale hands-on knowledge however is limited due to never having the space to actually build a 'real' home system. My many projects over the years have always been small scale or automotive based. I do have a fair understanding of audio production and how things work, but things like tapped horns, arrays, etc are beyond my experience. I'd like to change that.

Now I find myself wanting to finally try some of these amazing things Ive read about despite still being in a joined condo with picky neighbors. I've earned it at this point I feel and I've decided to make the most of what we have here. I'm going to build a quality home theater here in the condo and try to not kill the neighbors (or the opposite!) in the process.

That's where you come in DIYA. You'll see me here and there asking questions or maybe wanting clarification. And then you'll see me building it and the end result on my Youtube channel. I'm excited..it's been a long wait. Daddy's due.

we have the tapped horn experts you need, and plenty of ready to go constructions, if you can find them

but from what I understand, they will scare your neighbours
at least the big ones

but you will no doubt get all the help you need
