Brand new member, Santa Clara Valley

Howdy from "Silicon Valley" California, just signed up. I'm a former subscriber to "The Audio Amateur" and member of "Audiomart (Crewe, VA)", back in the old days when both were printed on paper and distributed by the postal service.

I've got a few pieces of old gear that I've been meaning to refurbish and/or modernize. 1, Phase Linear 400 amp (love those huge analog meters!); 2, SAE model 180 "parametric" equalizer; 3, Apt (Holman) preamp.

Welcome from another new subscriber. There is a vast array of knowledge here!

On another note.....one of the first systems that left an impression on me was a PL pre (can't recall which) and two of the PL 400's driving 2 pair of the 6' tall Magnepans
