Default Saying hello

A friend has gotten me into vintage audio and the DIY bug has bitten and he suggested this place, so just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I am hoping to get started on a tonearm in the near future as well as building some speakers. Look forward to learning a lot here and meeting some folks if only in the cyber realm. Thanks and have a great one.

Howdy newbe - and Welcome to diyAudio!!!!!

Ya need to be more careful when selecting your friends!!! What you friend has really done is lead you into a hobby that will drive ya nuts - and deplete your bank account!!!! When you are broke and homeless he will offer to buy your stuff from you for pennies on the $$$$.......

If you are building tonearms you should consider Paul Laadegards arm
and the Altmann turntable that should keep you going for a while
