Berlin calling

Hello everyone!

I'm Felix from Berlin/Germany and this is my maiden speech to the members of diyaudio. Hi!
I'm glad I found you here scince I have strong interest in all things hifi but have very limited knowledge in electronics.. and everything else involved

That doesn't stop me from getting my hands on some projects - speakers, turntables and these nice little amps from china.

My ambitions or motivations are usually that I want a certain music system to fit in a special place both size- and stylewise.
So from a high-end perspective you may dub me an "all show no go" person but most of the things I built were at least as good as the stuff I could have bought for the same money - only better in look and feel.

I recently revisioned a Quad 33/303 combo myself, replinthed my whacky old Thorens 165 and brushed up a timewarp Lenco L70.

My new project is rather different. My job makes me have to work sometimes for weeks building new exibitions in museums and we always lack a decent music system there. I still have a NOS 70s Clarion GT 501 car tuner which performs and sounds very nice. I want to mate that with a Sure 2024 amp and broadband speakers in a Festool Systainer toolbox.
