Noob from India, says Hello

Hi

Just joined the forum. I am Basu from India, and a software engineer. Electronics was my hobby (building audio related stuffs mainly with 810, 1010a, 4440, LB1405, LM 3914) during 1995 - 1996 during my high school days.

When I joined my college in 1997 (I was 20 then), I gave up electronics completely.

After 15 years, I am getting a strange urge to sit down once again with soldering iron, multimeter and components to build audio stuffs. Well, I still owe myself an audio amplifier that I could never build due to fund shortage back then. For LEDs were not this cheap at that time.

I consider myself a total noob now and will try to start from scratch. I cannot write circuits, but I can read them. And this is purely a hobby for me.

Guys, if I ask all sorts of stupid question w.r.t audio amplifiers please bear with me. I know the times have changed
