Default Re-starting the hobby

After a several year hiatus, I decided to start diy'ing audio again. Man, I forgot how crazy this can be. I have a few unfinished projects from 7 or 8 years ago! I've got some work done on a bottlehead foreplay and a passlabs pearl phono. Also must have bought parts for now unknown projects (maybe an aleph X) -- have to sell those. And I just picked up some new kits (hagtech piccolo, grubdac).

It's interesting to see what some of the new topics and project categories are: types of solder to use, USB dacs, proper EAC and FLAC settings, using woodglue to clean vinyl...

Hi RIF and Welcome to diyAudio!!!

I also returned to the strange and wonderful world of audio and DIY after a loooong absence. All I can say is - you have our sympathies for the (at least temporary) loss of your sanity and ability to think things out clearly.

There is still time to escape this lunacy!!!! Juz ship me all those pieces of scrap ya have laying around and I'll give 'em a good home. In the mean time you can go buy a 7.1 HTIB system with dem itty bitty wall mounted speakers - plug it all in to your HDTV and kick back and forget about how crazy all of this really is.

BTW - most of the guys here (ladies too) know juz how full of BS I really am!
Don't worry about it - I am considering professional help at my local mental health provider.
